The Safety Interlock Disconnect Kit with Corner Mount Switch provides a comprehensive solution to power and safeguard your appliance garage. The bundle features (1) Safety Disconnect and (2) 20 amp AC outlets, supporting up to four devices. Simply install the outlets into a compatible three-gang junction box (not included), placing the disconnect in the first section and the supplied outlets in the second and third sections. The Corner Switch is designed to be mounted at the corner behind the hinged side of your cabinet door(s).
Enhanced Protection
The Corner Switch detects whether your cabinet door is open or closed, automatically signaling the Disconnect to shut off power to the outlets when the door is closed. This built-in safety feature offers extra peace of mind when using small appliances in enclosed cabinet spaces. It’s ideal for residential homes, rental properties, aging-in-place communities, and is required by electrical code in Canada to ensure AC outlets are de-energized when the cabinet is closed.

This kit enables you to connect more appliances than our 15 amp or 20 amp Safety Outlet with Corner Switch models, which only support one device.
