Project Planning in Canada
Docking Drawer outlets are ETL Listed for use in Canada. To plan your project, follow the planning details above and consider the following to comply with the CEC*:
- In-Drawer AC Outlets for Canada: To add AC outlets inside of a compact bathroom vanity, specify a 15 amp Blade Compact Vanity outlet & the Safety Interlock Outlet with Blade Limit Switch (6015-1000W). The Safety Interlock Outlet with Blade Limit Switch de-energizes a Docking Drawer Blade Series outlet when the drawer begins to close.
*The Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) has the final say on whether an installation meets the requirements of the Canadian Electrical Code.
