ETL Listed for both the US and Canada, Blade 15 amp in-drawer outlets are simple to add to virtually any drawer. Each outlet prioritizes safety with tamper-resistant receptacles and a built-in thermostat that automatically shuts off power if the temperature around the outlet rises above 49°C

Stay Tidy with Blade Series Outlets

Clear your countertops and keep your space organized with Docking Drawer’s Blade Series outlets. The 15 amp Blade In-Drawer Outlets provide a practical way to keep devices powered and clutter out of sight. These outlets can safely charge up to four devices at once or deliver power to two devices, making them ideal for drawers in kitchens, bathrooms, vanity tables, entryway consoles, or anywhere you want hidden, accessible power.

Personalized Power Options

Tailor your Docking Drawer 15 amp Blade In-Drawer Outlet to your preferences. Select from finishes like white, black, stainless steel, or brass, and choose from outlets with AC plugs, USB-C (PD 30 & 60 Watt), or USB-A charging ports. Enjoy the convenience of keeping your devices plugged in and ready, minimizing the need to repeatedly plug and unplug items like hot tools, small appliances, and more. With straightforward replacement and upgrade paths, the Blade Series is designed to adapt with your needs and technology.

Effortless Installation

Installation is a breeze with the Blade Series outlets. They are designed to fit various drawer types, including shallow, tall, narrow (as small as 9" wide), and vertical drawers. Choose the configuration that suits you best, whether it's facing left, right, up, or down. With just 2" of space required behind the drawer box (reduced to 1.25" with a spacer for limited spaces), our outlets can be seamlessly integrated into both standard and custom cabinet sizes using the seven screws included in the package. The 42" outlet cord conveniently plugs into any in-cabinet outlet.

Built for Safety

Safety is at the heart of every Docking Drawer product. Blade Series outlets are ETL Listed for the US & Canada and feature tamper-resistant construction. An integrated thermostat will automatically cut power if the temperature around the outlet exceeds 49°C, providing peace of mind. Each outlet undergoes rigorous cycle testing—over 500,000 open/close cycles, simulating use every 15 minutes for 30 years. Every Blade Series outlet is supported by a robust 5-year warranty, so you can trust in its long-term reliability.

Compliant w/Canadian Electrical Code

All USB-only configurations are CEC compliant as they come and and can remain energized when the drawer is closed to charge devices. If purchasing an AC configuration for applications such as powered vanity styling drawers or kitchen appliance pullouts, we recommend pairing it with our Blade Safety Outlet, which cuts power as the drawer begins to close and complies with the Canadian Electrical Code for high voltage outlets within the cabinet.

Planning Your Docking Drawer Blade Series Installation

Start your Docking Drawer Blade Series project by determining the type of drawer box you have. There are four main drawer styles: Shallow, Tall, Narrow, and Vertical. Once you’ve identified your drawer type, measure the outer width (OD) of the drawer box to ensure it meets the minimum size requirements for a Blade Series outlet. You can find the specific dimension guidelines here.

Project Planning for Canadian Installations

Docking Drawer outlets are ETL Listed for use in Canada. When planning your installation, follow the steps above and keep these Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) considerations in mind:

  • USB-Only In-Drawer Charging for Canada: Select a Docking Drawer Blade Duo (1514-288) or Blade (1514-180) outlet with USB-C and/or USB-A ports only. Since USB ports are low voltage, these outlets can stay powered and charge devices even with the drawer closed.
  • AC In-Drawer Outlets for Canada: For 15-20 amp Blade Duo or Blade outlets with AC power, we recommend pairing them with our Blade Safety Outlet for CEC compliance. The Blade Safety Outlet will automatically cut power to the in-drawer outlet as the drawer closes, making it compliant for use in areas like bathroom styling drawers, kitchen appliance pullouts and other high voltage in-drawer power applications.

Note: The final decision on CEC compliance rests with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

Do I need a 15 or 20 amp Docking Drawer Blade Series Outlet?

We often get asked this question when choosing the right outlet for your drawer, especially in bathroom vanity projects where the outlet is used to power hair dryers and curling irons. See the answer here.

How do I ensure my Blade Series outlet is GFCI protected?

    My favorite drop zone feature!

This has been on my list for years and it has lived up to the hype! Love that all the charger clutter can be off the kitchen counters and that we now have a designated charging space.

    Life Changer!

In my past life, cords were in the kitchen, on the counter, hanging over, scrambled up and sloppy. Now, every device that we can possibly fit in the drawer, all charging happily together and my counter looks so calm and peaceful. It was easy to install. We routed the cord to the outlet behind the fridge which worked perfectly. I even have the drawer next to the charging dock drawer, stocked with cords waiting to do their jobs. I bought organizers from Amazon so everything has a place in the drawers. Seriously, you will never regret this purchase! Thank you to the inventors who gave me a bit of sanity back.
