This kit further enhances protection with the Blade Safety Outlet, which will de-energized your powered drawer soon as the drawer is closed, delivering added assurance for everyday use and complying with CEC guidelines for high voltage outlets within the cabinet.
Intelligent Safety System
The kit includes (1) Blade Duo Outlet, (1) Safety Interlock Outlet, and (1) Blade Limit Switch, so you have everything you need in a single box. The Safety Interlock Outlet replaces your standard single gang outlet to supply power to your in-drawer outlet. The Blade Series Outlet installs easily with just a few common tools, and the Limit Switch mounts to the rear bracket of your Blade Series outlet. When you open the drawer, the switch is pressed, activating the in-drawer outlet. As you close the drawer, the switch releases, prompting the Safety Interlock Outlet to cut power to the Docking Drawer outlet. You can fine-tune the Blade Limit Switch to de-energize the outlet at your preferred position.
