Power Tight Spaces with Blade Compact Vanity Outlets

Optimize narrow vanity drawers with Docking Drawer's 20 amp Blade Compact Vanity Outlet. Engineered for drawers as narrow as 11", it offers built-in power and charging while meeting Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) standards. Enjoy a safe, convenient solution without sacrificing space or functionality.

Innovative Compact Design

The Blade Compact Vanity Outlet fits drawers as narrow as 11", offering a sleek solution for powering essentials like hair dryers and razors while reducing countertop clutter. Available in AC, USB-A, and USB-C configurations, it charges multiple devices simultaneously. Unlike competitors using generic components, Docking Drawer designs purpose-built outlets for superior safety and functionality. Ideal for narrow vanity drawers in Canadian homes, this compact outlet integrates seamlessly into any bathroom project without compromising performance.

Straightforward Installation

Installing the Blade Compact Vanity Outlet is quick and easy with just seven screws and basic tools. Designed for narrow vanity drawers, it fits a minimum drawer width of 11.25", a 4" interior height, and 2" of clearance behind the drawer. It’s compatible with standard 21" deep vanity cabinets and can even be installed in drawers narrower than 11.25" using a specialized technique, making it a versatile solution for adding in-drawer power.

Superior Safety You Can Trust

Docking Drawer outlets meet the highest safety standards and are ETL Listed for use in Canada. An interlocking thermostat shuts off power if temperatures exceed 120°F (48.9°C), while cable management arms and strain reliefs protect against wear. The soft-jacketed cable supports repeated drawer movement and works with soft-close glides. AC outlets require the Safety Interlock Outlet with Blade Limit Switch for CEC compliance, while USB-only configurations are already compliant, ensuring safe, reliable in-drawer power.

Project Planning in Canada

Docking Drawer outlets are ETL Listed for use in Canada. To plan your project, follow the planning details above and consider the following to comply with the CEC*:

  • In-Drawer AC Outlets for Canada: To add AC outlets inside of a compact bathroom vanity, specify a 20 amp Blade Compact Vanity outlet & the Safety Interlock Outlet with Blade Limit Switch (6020-1000W). The Safety Interlock Outlet with Blade Limit Switch de-energizes a Docking Drawer Blade Series outlet when the drawer begins to close.

*The Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) has the final say on whether an installation meets the requirements of the Canadian Electrical Code.
