What Are Prado’s Branch Circuit Requirements?

For hardwired Docking Drawer outlets featuring Prado technology and installed in a back box (without the optional self-contained cap), each outlet must be connected to its own dedicated branch circuit. The supply wiring should be brought into the device box from outside, without any splices or connections to additional devices within the same box. Installing a cover plate is necessary to properly seal the back box. When using the self-contained cap, a back box isn’t required. For corded models, a 5ft cable and a NEMA 5-15 plug are included, so you can easily connect to any standard outlet.
