Pair with the For Stone Counterbore Bit
If you're purchasing the Docking Drawer Docking Drawer Counterbore Bit for the first time and don't have a compatible Shank Arbor on hand, this is the recommended pairing. The threaded connection keeps the bit centered and provides a secure drill-chuck connection for a clean, accurate counterbore every time.
The Connection Between Bit and Drill
The Docking Drawer Counterbore Bit for Stone uses a 5/8"-11 threaded connection. It does not fit directly into a conventional drill chuck, but the Shank Arbor provides the connection in one step: thread the counterbore bit onto the 5/8"-11 male threaded end, slide the 1/2" shank into a compatible drill chuck, and tighten.
Compatible Drill Chuck Connection
The 1/2" shank connects the Counterbore Bit for Stone to a compatible drill chuck. Use a drill that accepts a 1/2" shank and follow the tool and installation requirements for the counterbore bit.
